Storybook Favorites

The ghost stories about at our school really caught my attention. I remember hearing ghost stories about OU but never heard the full-on story. I never heard about the student getting his head decapitated though… It is tragic that happened. It just makes me more curious and wonder what more haunting stuff that haunts our campus? In the past, I have heard stories about students committing suicide because of finals or they were on drugs then did crazy stuff on campus. It is just a saddening to hear all these awful stories that haunts our school.

There are so many different versions of Peter Pan and reading this reminded me of Once Upon a Time on ABC. There was a moment where Rumpelstiltskin was the son of Peter Pan, who traded Rumple for his eternal youth. In Jake’s storybook, Peter is known to be the hero even though he killed several pirates. He would have done anything and everything to save Wendy to make sure she was okay. It is weird to read how Captain Hook’s goal is to save Peter from corruption by whatever means necessary.
Death always seemed to intrigue me about life. I forget to think that every time that someone dies, someone is born to take their place. It is an ongoing cycle of life that just happens to sound so depressing. Nature has a saying where "life passes it torch" which is crazy to think. Throughout this story about death, it reminded me of a Korean drama that I watched called, Goblin. In Grim Reaper’s past life, he was a king that killed himself because he killed his wife over power. So, he was sent to suffer and become a Grim Reaper for committing suicide. He ends up living with a Goblin, who is known for bettering people’s lives and suffering to live an immortal life.
