Favorite Place - Toronto

Toronto, Canada
Recently, I just came back from Toronto and it was probably one of the best trips I've experienced. I have been to many different cities and countries, and somehow Toronto ended up being my favorite. The food is always the first thing on my list along with sightseeing. I set a goal for myself to only eat at restaurants that we do not have in Oklahoma. During this trip, we stayed around downtown of Toronto, so everywhere we went was walking distance but the only problem was how cold and windy it was. The best time to walk around the streets was when I was layered up with 4 pieces of clothing and the sun was out. That was the day I realized I never wanted to travel anywhere else that was cold. Other in that, I enjoy traveling and trying new food places. Food is top priority for me when I am traveling. I get to taste bits of everything everywhere.

  1. Toronto is awesome. I have a cousin that lives there so I try to go up there at least every couple of years. One thing I really like about Toronto, is that even though it is such a big city, it is very clean and the people are relatively nice and helpful. Did you try poutine while you were there?

  2. I would love to get to go to Toronto someday, Tracy! I've been to Vancouver a bunch of times, and it is a fabulous city; that's the only place in Canada that I have visited. The food in Vancouver was also excellent! And hey, you could use this class as an excuse to go try out different Indian restaurants. You can call it class research! And not just Indian restaurants; the Ramayana and Mahabharata are known throughout South Asia; my favorite Thai restaurant has Ramayana-inspired art on all the walls. :-)
