Sucks to admit, but I honestly procrastinate often depending
what I have happening during the week. Throughout my college years, I found myself keeping my life busy by working, being in a sorority, and suffocating myself in my textbooks. If I am working constantly or busy with
other school stuff, I sometimes put my online class behind until the due date which
is not very smart of me. I really enjoy how this class has deadlines to follow
or by our own schedule we made. It makes it a lot easier on me so I can focus on
my assignment on days I am free or not have classes.
When I was reading the How to Build a Realistic Study Plan that You'll Actually Stick to, having a
planner to plan out my daily days would help me thrive in school a lot better. It talked about if
I sweat on the small stuff now then it wouldn’t be as bad later on. I need to set my own goals for every class this semester so I don't fall behind. The more motivated and prepared I feel, the better chance I will succeed in my classes. The Important Habit of Just Starting talks about needing to
be committed and motivated on wanting to work so I can keep it consistent.
Consistency is key to success which is a motto I should follow throughout my
life. If I start my habits now, it will continue to grow on me. I just need to remind myself have a healthy balance of sleeping, doing my homework early
and always be on time with given tasks. I try to remind myself everyday that everything I do in school is for the future me. Every time I procrastinate, every late assignment I turn in, or last minute studying on my exam, it will all reflect on my final grade. It is so easy to fall behind if I am not
learning how to balance my life with school, work, and personal life.
